The Standard Clean Process

THE STANDARD CLEAN PROCESS

A unique combination of cleaning processes that get your carpet dramatically cleaner – guaranteed – plus truly personal service

  • Step 1: My Pre-Inspection
I personally come to your home and walk through it with you to inspect your  carpet. I give you a complete evaluation of the results you can expect and indicate any problem areas, such as a stain no cleaning process can remove entirely. I also answer any questions you may have and provide an estimate.
  • Step 2: Pre-Spot Treatment
I want to increase the possibility that I’ll be able to remove even difficult spots. So I pre-treat them with special cleaning solutions.
  • Step 3: Pre-Spray Conditioning
To help assure a noticeably cleaner result, I spray a preconditioning agent on soil in heavy traffic areas and on all spots. The spray breaks down the soil and spots.
  • Step 4: Soil Extraction and Rinse
Now, I thoroughly rinse the carpet with a powerful hot-water extraction system without over-wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue.
  • Step 5: Neutralizer for Proper pH
To leave your carpet soft and fresh, as well as to make sure there is no sticky residue, I pH balance your carpet. This helps make your home the healthy place you want it to be.
  • Step 6: Post Spot Cleaning
I have many specialty spotting solutions that we apply to any spots or stains that may still remain.
  • Step 7: Post-Cleaning Inspection
I personally walk through your home with you to show you the dramatically cleaner results – and to make sure you’re thrilled with the job.

Deep Clean

This video shows the four major parts of the Deep Clean procedure (there are more, but these are the  meat of the job):

The main steps in the Deep Clean are (as shown in the video):

  • Pre-vacuum for dry soil removal
  • Apply cleaning solution, allow dwell time
  • Agitate with electric, counter-rotating brush
  • Extract (steam clean) with a pH-balancing rinse

The Deep Clean also includes chemical spotting, appropriate for dye or ink spots, filtration soiling, and more.  The Deep Clean is appropriate for heavily-soiled carpets and carpets where pets live.  The brush usually pulls up a lot of hair even in well-vacuumed carpets.

  • Step 2: Pre-Vacuum
The purpose of the pre-vacuum is to remove dry soil. This is one of the most important steps. I use a powerful power vacuum that removes it thoroughly.
  • Step 3: Pre-Spot Treatment
I want to increase the possibility that I’ll be able to remove even difficult spots. So I pre-treat them with special cleaning solutions.
  • Step 4: Furniture Moving
I move furniture four times during the Deep Clean process: when I vacuum, prespray, scrub, and extract.  There are two discounts if you choose not to move furniture: the per square foot price is lower, and I take the furniture footprint out of square footage.
  • Step 5: Pre-Spray Conditioning
To help assure a noticeably cleaner result, I spray a preconditioning agent on soil in heavy traffic areas and on all spots. The spray breaks down the soil and spots.
  • Step 6: Pre-Grooming and Agitation
I use a heavy-duty electric carpet groomer to loosen and bring more dry soil, hair and loose fiber to the surface.
  • Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
Now, I thoroughly rinse the carpet with a powerful hot-water extraction system without over-wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue.
  • Step 8: Neutralizer for Proper pH
To leave your carpet soft and fresh, as well as to make sure there is no sticky residue, I pH balance your carpet. This helps make your home the healthy place you want it to be.
  • Step 9: Post Spot Cleaning
I have many specialty spotting solutions that we apply to any spots or stains that may still remain.
  • Optional: Professional Carpet Protection with Scotchgard.
Now that your carpet is noticeably cleaner, I recommend that you choose to have Fiber Clean apply Scotchgard to your carpet. It’s a professional carpet protector that will limit future permanent stains and extend the life of your carpet.
  • Step 10: Post-Cleaning Inspection
I personally walk through your home with you to show you the dramatically cleaner results – and to make sure you’re thrilled with the job.

The Carpet Cleaning You Need

Fiber Clean was organized around the principle that everyone’s needs are different.  Some people want their carpet to look brand new.  Others want to save a carpet to make a home rentable.  Still other people have different needs for different rooms within the same house.

Fiber Clean strives to give you exactly the cleaning you need.  Upfront pricing helps you to fit a pre-determined budget, and the variety of cleaning options ensures that you get your carpet cleaned the way you want it cleaned.

My web site is finally up and running, and available for your perusal.  If you have any comments or suggestions, please call or email me, as I got so many spam comments to my last blog that I had to route them to my junkmail folder.  I’ll use this page for some business and some personal information.  Mostly I’ll talk about carpet cleaning, of course, but nobody can just read about that, right?
